He did himself inLarry’s father was an alcoholic and died early. Larry’s sister, Annete, had all kinds of medical symptoms and unnecessary procedures. Annete once hyperventilated and caused her blurry vision. The ophthalmologist subjected her to many tests to rule out optic neuritis. She even checked herself in at the Mayo clinic for fatigue.

Larry was an anxious fellow and alcohol often eased his symptoms. He was smart and graduated from college. He used to call himself, “the minerals man.”

He wanted a naive wife from a small town in America. One day he found his wife, Karla. Larry never wanted any kids, but eventually, Karla convinced him to have at least one and thus Sasha was born.

Larry felt best when he was busy working. Once he took a year off from his job and built his own house. He was very capable and skilled.

Larry was a very thrifty man and one Christmas he bought Karla an Iron.

One day I went to visit him, and he quickly asked me to check out his back pain. I told Larry that x-rays of the back in his age group are rarely useful. His friends kept recommending him to various chiropractors. He refused to acknowledge any stressors.

Soon, I saw Karla all dressed up and was wearing a revealing mini-skirt. She had found California’s wild side, and Larry was reacting to it. Soon Karla divorced Larry and began dating various men.

One night, while visiting me, I told Larry that his back pain was psychological; he became visibly angry but contained his words and said nothing. He did not have the surgery, however, that the orthopedic had recommended and his back pain resolved. All in all, we became very good friends.

After divorcing Karla, he complained on how “dingy” she was. I said to him that if so, he should raise their daughter, Sasha. Another day he was upset that Karla was already shacking up while he still had to pay alimony for at least five more years.

Larry gave Sasha a great life, took her to Europe and even bought her a car while in high school. Sasha, however, developed a dualism. With Larry, she behaved like a saint. With her mother, she was a monster out of control.

Larry would often visit me for mild aches (arthralgias), but internalized his stressors. His visits would take over one hour, but would never disclose any of his stressors. Though his visits were painfully tedious for me, they helped him cope with life.

At 17, Sasha met Frank, a “loser,” high school drop out who refused to work. Frank was a “meth freak.” Sasha threatened her mother with moving out to live with Frank. In order to keep an eye on her daughter, Karla allowed Frank to move into their home.

A Saturday night, Frank began to chase Sasha with a knife. In order to protect her daughter, Karla, got in between Frank and Sasha. Frank stabbed Karla to death while Sasha called the police. When the police arrived, Frank said to them “kill me.” They did shoot him to death since Frank had continued to threaten the police with the knife.

Thereafter, I saw Larry become a different person. By then, he had close to a million dollars in assets and was about to retire at a relatively young age. A month before his retirement party, he was found dead of “unnatural causes.”

The human brain is so complex that Sasha today is in denial that any of these events have occurred. Were Sasha to acknowledge what she had done to her parents, it would be devastating and madness would ensue. Imagine a doctor who may see Sasha for anxiety, headaches and so on. It is unlikely he/she would ever unlock the mystery behind her symptoms.

If I am against Pseudoephedrine being available to the public, this is one of the cases that illustrate my stance. Pfizer and other drug makers, however, lobbied Congress to have this product (which is of no medical utility) available to the public. You must look at PSEUDOEPHEDRINE and the damage it does to our society-the public pays while others seek to profit from it. Clarinex-D 24 hour/Schering can kill you if you have undiagnosed hyperthyroidism. It contains 240 mg of PSEUDOEPHEDRINE. If you happen to drink a cappuccino, good luck, you may not sleep. You should look up its other side effects.

The brain is the most complex organ-the jewel of thought. Do you understand yourself?
